I had brought 5 colleagues from out of town as usually can depend on this restaurant for good service and good food. Had a bit of a letdown this time. The service was very painfully slow - we were there for 3 plus hours and most of it was spend waiting: 10 minutes to get the wine glass and at least another 10 to actually get the wine, 45 minutes between starter and main, more than 20 minutes to get the desserts. I heard good things about this restaurant. I have walked by it several times always saying I should try it. I got the table I requested. I was very happy with the whole experience as was our whole party. Food was excellent, presented beautifully and prepared as requested. Staff and service was good, but on the slow side. We all ordered different dishes and ate in a matter of minutes. I have never seen my son order a meal of this size and eat it all. We all enjoyed the popcorn shrimp as well. Saltlik was a great place to come for dinner before an evening of theatre. The hostess was able to meet our tight deadline and the food was excellent. We will be returning for the good food, the relaxed ambiance, and the great service.

We booked a 7 pm reservation for my husbands birthday. Restaurant was super loud. Had to yell to have a conversation. Our waitress was more concerned about pulling her skirt down constantly than providing service. Her colleagues did more for us than she did. Poor experience in my opinion. We have been to Saltlik before and it was 5* service but this time it was 2*. Not worth the $200 bill at the end of the night.
