I was in on Thursday to purchase a keyboard and felt compelled to send this because of how impressed I was of the overall experience, and above all, how extraordinary the service was - both of which, Brian Smith was directly responsible for.
Brian didn’t just go the extra mile, he ran the damn whole marathon.
Over the phone, Brian was extremely helpful and informative and did everything he could to not only to honor and match Guitar Center’s price, but to beat it. Unfortunately, after a couple productive calls, he found the item was out of stock and unavailable for purchase. Nonetheless, Brian yet again went above and beyond by taking note of what I was looking for and the price range I was wanting to stick with, and then assembled a list of keyboards of comparable value, sharing his knowledge of their intricacies - never pushing a sale, just helping me out musician-to-musician as much as possible, which couldn’t have been more appreciated especially considering I was about an hour away at the time.
I ended up coming in to check out the keyboards we discussed so I could see which one had the right feel for what I was looking for. Through it all I found a wonderful Casio Privea which now has its new home with a grateful owner.
I never have sent a message like this, but it was the least I could do the acknowledge Brian’s impeccable character, resourcefulness, and extraordinary assistance. I not once felt as if I was being pushed to buy; never pushing certain products or ignoring the details of what I was looking for and why. I felt like I was talking with a old friend, genuinely interested in what I was looking for, receptive to that information, and trying to set me up with the perfect keyboard to expand upon my own music into a new instrument. Simply finding a way to set me up the best he could, with the music always being at the forefront.
Because of Brian, you now have a new loyal customer.
I was so floored and satisfied with the experience that I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’d be happy to loyally stick with a place like yours that employs guys who know their stuff and are genuinely, simply nice, good people, like Brian. All this was because of my experience at Sam Ash with him on Thursday, singlehandedly earning my business. Thanks!!
