Date night with my wife was extra special thanks to the wonderful service and food at The Sandbar
We went there for an anniversary dinner and enjoyed our meal immensely. Our main courses were veal and duck, and it was worth every penny. We had tiramisu and the donuts for dessert, both were excellent. The service was great too. They should add a little lighting; more than one patron had to use their cellphone to see the menu.

We had a fabulous NYE dinner. Everything was awesome -- both entrees, swordfish & filet mignon, were cooked to perfection. Tried a new appetizer, chick pea fries. Very tasty!
Food was ok but the service was good. It was for a NYE dinner but the fire alarm kept going off as someone was apparently smoking in the toilet!
As always the experience met expectations. James’s team is buttoned up and tended to the important details of how a restaurant should be run. Always leave there completely satisfied
Food was delicious. The best part of the meal was really how warm you felt when at the restaurant. The staff was so friendly and genuine. The town and restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It truly was a one of a kind experience on Long Island.
We went tonight for my boyfriends birthday. When I made the reservation online I had mentioned it was for a birthday. The service was great and before we left the owner surprised my boyfriend with ice cream cake and a card! I thought it was extremely sweet and thoughtful for them to do so. The food is always great and the place is beautiful. We will defiantly be back again soon!
The swordfish was delicious; perfectly cooked. Waitstaff were all very pleasant and professional .
