First time eating at Sandbar. It was great. Went for lunch the had the lunch special. For $18 we had soup and a burger.! Food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely go back

Good food but..... way too noisy. It made dinner unpleasant and we opted not to stay for coffee and dessert. Don’t go on a Friday or Saturday if you enjoy talking with your friends.

Beautiful ambience combined with carefully prepared food made for a wonderful experience. Everything from the bread to the dessert was just great. Our waiter provided just the right amount of attention and all in all it was one of the best meals we’ve had on Long Island in a long time! Can’t wait to return.

We were seated promptly near the fireplace, a premium for this cold Thanksgiving day! Everything was spot on, warm bread, delicious salad and amazing duck (for me) and prime rib for the husband. Service was attentive and efficient.

We went to Sandbar for Thanksgiving Lunch. Our group of five all enjoyed our meals which went beyond the Thanksgiving Turkey special. Wait staff were very accommodating and took good care of us. Having not been to this location since it was a different restaurant many years back I could not believe the transformation. Spectacular job. Would go back when we are back for a Long Island visit.
