New Gem in Gold Spring Harbor opened by the Lessing family who also owns the Three Village Inn and overseas by their great french chef Guy. Inviting atmosphere with local art, excellent service, and a nice large bar. For lunch nice sandwiches and salads, Lobster roll looked very popular, take a pass on the Cubana.
Second Visit to Sandbar and it did not disappoint. Excellent food and good service. Noise level close to shouting range when busy.
Cheese plate was wonderful, but we had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be seated regardless of our reservation
Excellent food. Everything was fresh. The service was perfect. I'd definitely recommend Sandbar to my friends. Actually, I already have.

Considering the amount of obviously fresh lobster, the $22 price was a good value. We enjoyed both lunches and will return.

With its prices and pedigree (Guy Reuge of Mirabelle is executive chef), it seemed a perfect special occasion place. I had high expectations, having enjoyed many spectacular meals in the past cooked by Guy at Mirabelle (one where he hosted Christian Pol Roger of the great Champagne House). Nonetheless, I tempered my expectations. Glad I did. It was a night of apologies. Despite a reservation, we waited 20 minutes for our table. The hostess and the manager apologized for the delay. Our waiter delivered menus, described specia... read more
