Be prepared to spend big $$$$ as a cocktail is $15 and a glass of wine is $16. Basic hamburger that gets lost in the bun with fries is Ok if they get temperature right. Duck entree at $36 is OK at best. Beautiful place but eh for food, service was very good.
Very happy that Cold Spring Harbor has another good restaurant on Main Street. Inventive menu, very good service, nice ambience. A tad pricey, all things considered, but it makes the grade.
We came for a brief family meeting Sunday brunch and was very pleased with the overall selection and atmosphere . The service was excellent and food was delicious .
Wonderful in every sense -- should have known -- my favorite chef from the original Mirabelle was on board. A must try for everyone.
Service and food
This was my second visit to Sandbar and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful and has such a great modern beach vibe to it. The tables are nicely spaced so you aren't sitting on top of each other. The waitstaff is excellent. The food is great with some the freshest oysters Ive ever had. Its a place we will be sure to return to for regular and special occasion meals.

Our server was amazing! He made recommendations which were spot on it was a wonderful experience for us - as always at this very cosy establishment
Sandbar "hit it out of the park" again! Food was out of this world...whether just for apps and drink or, like this last visit, full dinner, it is consistently yummy!! Terrific vibe, too!
