RecommendedIt had been 14 years ago since we had visited Sarasota jungle gardens. When we went we were none too impressed. But wow so much is changed in 14 years. We had a blast. We went with our 15-year-old and 12-year-old. There is a lot of inner action with the animals, it’s not just animals it’s history of the vegetation in the area. Our girls love the birds. It is a must see when visiting Sarasota.

RecommendedAfter living in Sarasota for 8 years, today was my first visit. I was surprised how large it was and the variety of animals. It has kitschy old Florida charm, like an attraction you would find in the middle of the state. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy the plant life and the wildlife.
Recommended RecommendedI grew up going to SJG. I learned so much about the animals and grew to love them to this day. I remember when chief the alligator was there. Watching the birds skate along the stage. I will continue that education with my kids, so they also can love and respect animals. I can’t wait to share my childhood memories with my kids.
Recommended RecommendedThe whole family had a blast! Flamingo feeding was amazing, bird show with 81 yr old bird riding the bike was super cool, talking to the birds that talk back was fun, butterfly garden was cool.... every member of the family had a great time :)

RecommendedVisited this past Sunday hadn't been here in over 50+ years, has been well maintained, got to see the reptile show by came to late to see the bird show, but we still enjoyed our time here. Recommend highly, we are revisiting attractions that we visited as kids before we move to Ga. Next stop Bok tower, and Wiki Wachee
