RecommendedWe love coming to Jungle Gardens especially to feed the flamingos! Some need to realize this is a sanctuary and not a city zoo. Customer service could be improved but the flamingos far out weigh our visit each time. We can’t wait for the arrival of our baby girl so she can enjoy what my husband has experienced since a young boy too!
My first visit to the gardens yesterday. Everything was very clean and well-kept. I loved the bird show. Very interesting for all ages. The flamingos were my favorite, I love how they just mingle with everyone.
Love it, I totally love Flamingo’s. So I will be back soon.
A very fun experience! The folks working there were very nice and the reptile show was the best! What a wonderful young man-knowledgable, enthusiastic and very helpful with the kids and families taking pictures!
I love Sarasota Jungle Gardens. We discovered it in 2005 with our then 3-year-old and have been back twice since. This isn't Disney World. You aren't going to be entertained from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave. There are informative shows about the animals and chances for encounters but it's more low key. There is a nice little playground for the little kids to burn off some energy too, while you relax on a bench. Take your time walking around the grounds.
