refinance closed this week. Saul was wonderful to work with, easy going and no pressure which was a plus. The only regrets I had was with the appraiser (worst ever) but was informed it was the bank and not them. Would have liked to been better informed/timed to close at the end of the month instead of the middle in which you are hit with a daily interest only payment which adds up quickly. Other than that I felt I made a good choice to go with Saul. thanks again.

We found Saul through the Zillow website. We were a little nervous about going with someone we didn't know, but since he had good reviews we decided to take a chance and we are really glad that we did. Saul was always informative and responsive. Along the way there were a few unexpected "curve balls" that our unique situation provided. There are not enough words to express the quality of service Saul gives with each and every encounter. Not only is he amazingly quick to respond to all questions and requests, but he is very knowledgable about the market and was able to give me advice that greatly benefit me throughout the process. His fees and competitive rates are difficult to reproduce or beat by any other lender or broker I have contacted. Do not do business with Saul Bailey at Rate. 1) Saul failed to disclose time-sensitive information. This led to a very stressful closing process. 2) While discussing the withheld information, Saul said he would refer us to his “legal team” and walked out of a meeting. 3) Saul no longer holds a local, Idaho office. This occurred when he switched companies from Cornerstoneto Rate and was not communicated as part of the change. My experience working with Saul was overall positive when we first purchased our home, but the level of service provided during our refinance was subpar, and I will never work with him again. First, I had to remind Saul and his partners multiple times that it was not appropriate for them to ask us to email our personal information without encryption or a secure upload feature.
