First, they won’t give you the pets prescription so you can shop around for better pricing as the vet charges are to much for your pets meds. They are straight up BIRCHES that work there! DONT TAKE YOUR PET THERE!! Seriously folks!! I found a new vet who doesn’t charge a ridiculous amount of money for nothing! And they gave me the prescription so I could shop for my dogs meds. They say they are compassionate for animals! They are NOT! They are Just money mongers!! They don’t care two shits for your pet.

15 year history with them great people but since covid I think they are under staffed and over worked. Going to find a new vet.I don't blame the people that work there but I'm sure they are under pressure to make a profit.
I adopted a puppy from here, was told that my $150 deposit (for the Neuter surgery) would be refundable once I provided proof of surgery from the listed vets they recommended. First, I scheduled my surgery at Scenic Animal Hospital in Saint Paul. I never received a confirmation call the day prior to inform me when I needed to stop feeding my puppy the night before. We are not Ruff start Rescue we work with them we have nothing to do with adoptions or billing issues you have with them. We also apologize that there wasn't a phone call made both days of surgery we call these every week. As far as any of this rescue issue is concerned Scenic Hills Animal Hospital has nothing to do with any of thier processes or procedures in any way. We Do Not Adopt Dogs out from our clinic from any rescue organizations.

though the staff is very friendly unfortunately my experience with them was not very good I brought a kitten in that I had found outside that was cold wet and freezing when I found her add I think she got sick from being tossed outside by someone who didn't want her they had to do an x-ray because they believe there was a blockage which there was some type of metal in her stomach $1,200 for the surgery I couldn't afford that so I had to surrender this poor little kitten to them but yet I still had to pay $170 for a kitten th... read more
