What a waste of time. Didn't even get a doctor, put a PA. Then they want communication through text messages when I was trying to sort out an issue with meds. To top it off, my follow up appt was canceled and rescheduled for weeks later. Was supposed to have a treatment today per the woman who rescheduled the appt. Now they say pre-approval was necessary. Doesn't anyone do their job? It's been two months and nobody could mention this prior to my driving 45 minutes? Won't be going back.

I wish I read all of these horrible complaints and reviews on BBB after going to Schweiger dermatology group located 4 Paragon Way Suite 300, in freehold NJ. On June 9th I sent My fiancé to this location Edward Madej jr went in for a specialist opinion on removing moles on his back to check for skin cancer. He saw Jennifer Edwards as it's listed on this bill we keep getting. This place is like an urgent care without the urgent for dermatology. They see many patients in a day to make more money, but they forgo real patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment. Hiring young NPs and PAs without real experience is not the move a business should make. I do not like talking bad about my fellow healthcare workers since I am also a nurse. This people are terrible. I've been dealing with them for about two years, getting my medication has been a nightmare. Between appointments, dealing with their phone customer service people, and actually scheduling an appointment ( I had to go way outside my area to get an appointment) Its been a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this office, or the chain of offices to anybody. As soon as I find a suitable replacement I will be taking my business elsewhere. I got an infection from "it's just a mole" freeze Doctor Picascia froze it without warning Saw me for 3 minutes and moved on to the next patient -- just a number to him Asked him a couple of general questions--- his answers were to go see Sharon ... and then you had to make another appt to see Sharon -- so they can bill you again - the whole office was so rude even the receptionist could not answer a single question about the forms they gave you to sign ... they should at least familiarize themselves about the info they ... read more

Used to go to the office on Ironbridge Rd in Freehold. The difficulty and pain in trying to book an appointment was truly AMAZING! The questions I asked the receptionist had me on hold 3 times. Very unsure of herself and I could no longer take it and told her I would look for another dermatologist.

After many emails confirming my appointment I finally met with Dr.Piccasio. He was very abrupt , looked at my problem , gave me a cream to fill and sent me home. Visit lasted approx 2-3 minutes. Would have liked a more thorough examination after waiting weeks for an appointment.

I saw Dr. Picascia in Freehold and was extremely disappointed and angry how my issue was handled. He gave me a quick exam of the area in question, ordered a laundry list of blood tests and didn't give me a possible diagnosis. Some of the tests needed different diagnosis codes for insurance coverage. The office didn't have any idea what the codes should have been so I was told to go to one of my other dr's and have them do the tests. This is totally unacceptable. I'm a longtime patient of Dr. Hametz, who I think is great, but I'm not happy with the office. Although the doctor is in my provider network, the last time I was there I had to have a biopsy and the pathology lab they used was not in-network and has ended up costing me almost $300. I had specifically scheduled the appt. before the end of the year because I had already met my in-network deductible and had I known this would happen at least I would have had the $300 credited towards my 2021 deductible.
