Use zocdoc to make an appointment. When front desk is busy, they won't answer the phone at all..... esp afternoon time. Easy to make an appointment.
Please note that this office is for allergies and Asthma. Formerly Allergy and Asthma Clinic of New York, with the same excellent staff as before. Dr. Silverman is very good and explains things well. I also get my shots here and have been completely satisfied. Wait times are short and the office is well-run.
I can't say enough about the relief Dr. Bassett, Carla and the entire staff have afforded me. My chronic sinus infections have disappeared after being on the SLIT treatment. The entire staff is very accommodating and friendly. I am thankful everyday for no longer suffering from all my allergies .
I had a unique challenge to continue my allergy shots, since I live in Los Angeles, but am in NY for three months, while my wife treats Covid-19 patients here. I needed to find an allergist who could receive my serum from L.A. and take over my treatment, so I wouldn't have to start from scratch. Dr. Bassett is hands down the best doctor I have ever gone to in New York! After having a severe cough that lasted for over 2 months and had not been successfully treated by my general practitioner, I went to Dr. Bassett. He wasted no time identifying the problem immediately. After figuring out what caused my cough he was thorough, attentive and made sure all the necessary follow-up was taken care of. I cannot recommend him enough!
I was a first time patient of Dr. Silverman and I cannot say enough good things about her. I was very anxious about going to an allergist as soon as she walked in I was greeted by an exceptionally calm , compassionate , bright and dedicated physician. She spent a great deal of time with me and I had the rare opportunity to discuss with her questions I have had for years about my health. I wish she was a specialist in all fields. This practice is really special. I am most impressed by the curtesy and level of care. The entire staff is very professional from the lovely attitudes at walk-in, multiple reminders and check-ins, and accommodations (when has your dr. Last gotten you tea or sent someone out to get you a bagel while you wait out testing?). The time spent with patients is unparalleled. So thankful for this office and their team! Living with asthma all my life and I never had doctors who were fully able to help me prevent it. Since coming here I feel like I have it under better control! All the staff was also very nice, friendly and caring!
