Huge disappointment. I spent $1700 and was told that the package that I purchased would help my acne and that I would "love my complexion" after getting the peels and laser. I completed my treatment and have NO improvement. My acne is just as bad if not worse than before I started treatment. I am posting this to help others. I wish I knew it would not help at all before spending a TON of money. I took my daughter here a few years ago to get rid of a red vein on her face. We first saw a Nurse Practicioner who had no clue what's she's talking about then she asked if I would like to see Dr. Cobos. Of course! I saw Dr. Cobos who was knowledgeable and friendly and she recommended Vbeam but guess what? She wasn't the one performing the actual procedure. This office is more interested in money than clients-or retaining clients. I went for a follow up visit and was told by the front office person that I was LATE on a payment. I had not received a bill from them or my insurance EOB. She said I could not see the DR. unless I paid right then--a co-insurance payment. She then took me to another woman I assume who did billing and was told again if I wanted to see the Dr, I needed to also pay the co-pay right then for the new visit! I understand all the bad reviews... However Ive never experienced any aggressive selling tactics I think because I am only 27 and they know Im not ready to do any anti aging medical treatments. I only see Dr Cobos for Acne. Bottom line is. DR Cobos is a Great doctor. First of all, she was late, I waited in the lobby for half an hour, then waited in the room for at least 20 minutes longer. Then some skinny girl with stringy black hair and a lot of work done came in the room and started to sell me products and procedures I didn't ask about. She was very cold and pushy, and I didn't appreciate it. This place is horrible!!!!!! I came in here for a simple laser treatment & they kept pushing their products onto me. The first time i went in for a consultation, they insisted buying some cleaning pads (which I did) & it caused a severe irritation! When I came back for my laser treatment they told me to get a chemical peel with the treatment & I would get "fantastic" results! Never assume having several awards mean anything when it comes to choosing a Dr. And never be impressed with nicely decorated interior because what really matters in the end is the result of your procedures. It was a big lesson indeed. The sales lady was the first to review my profile and intro me to all these sales package. That should have been the first clue that this place cares more about your wallet. After sales lady left, Dr. C came in. Do not wast your time or money going here! I found Dr. Cobos on line through my medical insurance website. In looking at her website I felt as though she might be a good fit. Boy was I wrong! I went to see her for a mild case of adult acne the had developed in my early 30's. Nothing terribly serious, more an annoyance. After waiting for almost two moths for an appointment I was finally able to see her. She prescribed a topical antibiotic ointment and assigned me a follow up appointment eight weeks later. I have been there now 4 different times, 2 for botox, 2 for facials. Both times, there were no issues. Yes, she is a doctor, yes she is very busy, and yes it will take 2 months to get in to see her.... but guess what, all doctors are like that!!! Dr. C was nice and helpful both times. I was relaxed and not rushed. Both facials were great and my skin felt wonderful. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap, go someplace else. If you want quality... it takes times and costs a little money. But Dr. C is great!
