Great office. Although Dr. Ciocon (my doctor) is now doing part-time and won't have hours at the Hillsborough office.
The prices for procedures not covered by insurance are very high. It seems to be all about money.
This organization is a huge bureaucracy. I am not rating any of the providers themselves poorly, but the entire organization. Like all consolidated and professionally managed practices, the providers are on the clock and need to see a specific number of patients each day. The telephone is answered by a robot and then forwarded to patient reps. It takes five to seven business days to obtain medical records.
NOT my first & only review! Again, before reading, keep in mind that I have DOCUMENTATION of everything in all of my reviews. Here it is, NINE MONTHS LATER ~ and after Schweiger billing department OVERBILLED my insurance company, no one EVER sent me a bill for the difference... UNTIL they decided to send ALL OF MY INFORMATION to a collections agency!!! ??? Pretty sure this is a HIPAA violation! Never using this company again - they Bill and Bill and Bill I have insurance but they continue to bill for testing - what a SACM
Love the Dermatologists. However........................ Their billing practices need a major overhaul! I paid by check in Hillsborough & it was electronically processed through my account the next day. Then, 13 days later, they presented the same check to my bank & they were paid again! No explanation - they show only one payment. Meanwhile, I'm out almost $310.00. Their Billing Department is USELESS!
I would give this place 0 stars if possible. They charged me co pays on multiple visits when I do not have co payments. When I reached out and provided proof of this they don't answer. It has been two months and it is still under review. No one follows up to give me updates I have had to reach out every time myself. The worst place a hole year being treated with all this m3dicine and injections making me go true so much pain and sufer all for to be something else sometime you git to listen to your guts I'll make sure I tell everyone about my expiriance if I end up cure with new meds of my new dermatologist I will make sure they paid for my suffering and pain and all the malpractice on me ....
When I went in for my appointment about dry skin, post cancerous lesions and this area on my head that was not healing. When I came in there they didn't ask me to update any of my information but they were gladly to take my credit card and my health card. When I went in the back they froze a area on my back and on my face. They gave me some free cream for some eczema.
