Dr. Anhault was recommended to me by my Dermatologist that I was seeing back in Michigan. I am very pleased with his services and he does a thorough job with my skin issues. He does make the visits pretty short and can seem fast as others say, but as long as you keep asking him questions, he is more than happy to answer. The only reason why I gave him 4 out of 5 is the clinic seems to write for the brand name prescriptions instead of generics. Why that is the case, I am not sure. If you are looking for an amazing aesthetician, then you should make an appointment with Joan Gonzalez. She offers a complimentary consultation and is very informative and absolutely delightful. She did not try to push particular products or procedures--she simply presented my options and the cost. At the end of the appointment, she gave me several samples--I must confess, I LOVE sample! I first visited Dr. Anhalt about 10 years ago to have a mole removed from my back and some skin tags on my neck area. I needed to see a dermatologist again recently and went to this location in Los Altos. I had a sun spot on my face I wanted removed. Dr. Anhalt used liquid nitrogen to treat it on my face along with a wart on my chest. Although it's been 8 days, I am happy so far with the results. I received a 15% off coupon for my birthday to use for services at this particular California Skin Institute location. Since I've been saddened by the growing number of sun and age spots on my face, I decided to get my first chemical peel. The office is out of the way in a cottage-style building in the middle of a residential neighborhood. But it's close to Hwy 280. The staff were very friendly and professional. Two years ago I was recommended to Dr. Anhalt by my primary care physician for a skin condition that I had developed. He recommended certain topical home treatments which worked after 6 months to a year. The problem was with Dr. Anhalt, is his lack of good service. It's hard to get him to listen and prescribe additional treatments for different things. He seemed to be always rushed and on his way to the next thing on his schedule. Dr. Anhalt has been my family's dermatologist for as long as I can remember. He has taken care of skin ailments of all kinds and is always thorough, caring, and funny. I've had all range of treatments from him and they have all been successful. If something isn't working, just call the office and he will figure out how to tweak it to help you. Dr. Anhalt is the best! Everyone in his office is upbeat, friendly and very helpful!!! Dr. Anhalt knows exactly what to do to make your skin look great and he has a great personality! I'm 24 and I've been dealing with bad acne for the past two years. I've been seeing Dr. Anhalt for three months and my skin is almost perfect! The office also has great skin care products to help you along the way! I've been to A LOT of doctors for my acne and Dr. Anhalt is hands down the best!
