Beware! this office will set you up with providers that are out of your insurance network last minute and won't even inform you. The PA in this office is the most unprofessional unknowledgeable provider out there. She basically told me there was nothing I could do. Two weeks later I set up an appt with a different dermatologist office and immediately was given a diagnosis and treatment which has improved my condition drastically!

My review is based on the wait time. I chose this location for convenience (10min away from me) only to wait 30min in the waiting room, another 40min in the exam room and still waiting! this place clearly overbooks and does not value their patients time. Will not come back for sure!

I have been coming here for years. Unfortunately, the receptionist is soo rude. She is always rude. It is surprising the Dr.Beckett has not fired her yet. I called to make an appointment since I woke up with cellulitis. Unfortunately, they were unable to fit me in until January! It is cellulitis for crying out loud. I nor my family will be coming here any longer. Fortunately, another good dermatologist was able to fit me in the next day for the cellulitis. Good bye Dr. Beckett!!!!!!

The receptionist is very rude but this is not the only issue! If you want to make an appointment for a cancer screen, you can see De. Beckett in 6 to 7 months. However if you need any cosmetic procedures done, they can schedule you immediately. I waited 6 months for my appointment and then on the same day, I was scheduled for an interview. Called to reschedule and I was told next available appointment is the end of October. I said how could this be and the receptionist said "That's how it is". Dr. Beckett and some of her staff (Dawn) are extremely rude. After being prescribed an oral medicine, I was told that no refills would be given unless I came into the office every 30 days. I'm not able to step away from work one day per month to see her (keeping in mind that there is always a wait of at least 30 mins to be seen). And she would not budge on this, and even allowed my prescription to lapse, which caused a set back. My daughter had a persistent excruciating rash. Dr. Beckett appeared slightly horrified by it and really had no clue. She is NOT a pediatric dermatologist, which she told me. I asked if it could be an allergy, and she told me it wasn't. She recommended another Dr. who was unavailable until OCTOBER (it is August). I did some research of my own and found out that NY Presbyterian pediatric hospital has an outstanding pediatric dermatology unit. I had a hard time with this doctor. I came in to her office with a red face and didn't know what happened. She told me my insurance wouldn't cover something but did not work out a payment plan to fund the procedure. She gave me no other option, instead, she ignored me and gave me a $200 bill for not even helping me. I wouldn't recommend her because I felt like she was judging me when I came into her office with cold sores and a red face and needed help.
