I don't write reviews often - only if I've had an amazing experience and tonight I sure did. This was not the first time I've visited Schweiger dermatology but it was definitely my best experience in all the 5 years of going. My dermatologist was Sari Katz who was kind, listened to what I had to say, gave the best recommendations and really knew her stuff! She also made the cortisone injections that I opted for for my cystic acne painless. Highly recommend! Next was the nicer medical assistant Janet!!! She was so informative... read more

Dr. Iacobellis has got to be the best doctor in NYC. I have been to MANY doctors in the whole city. The staff, the location this person's kindness and genuine care have really left a mark on me. A sweet kind and refined man. He is humble and is not pushy, will not tell you what you have and listens to your questions. I recently went to Schweiger Dermatology UES location for a procedure. It was a last minute appointment and was relieved that I was accommodated so quickly by Dr. Iacobellis. The staff was warm and personable from the moment I stepped in. Its been a long time since I've felt comfortable and welcomed in a doctors office. Dr. Iacobellis is an amazing and very knowledgeable doctor with a great staff. I highly recommend this office and I am so glad to have found a great dermatologist.
Went for a procedure at the upper east side office...everyone was great there!!! Dr. Iacobellis and Monique helped me...they were so nice, and informative! Will definitely go back!
I recently went to Schweiger Derm UES location for a PRP and fraxel laser treatment. I couldn't be happier with the results. Monique Olivares whom is a certified PA treated me. She was amazing! Her extensive knowledge and experience with the treatments made me feel so comfortable in her hands. Two weeks later my skin has never looked better! This is one of those fast Derm places. They screwed up my appointment time so I was never seen. Their office on 87 street is in a terrible building with a slow elevator and very rude lady at the desk. Cheap waiting room. I think IKEA sells nicer stuff. Will never go back.
I came here for my annual cancer screening, which should be free per my insurance, but I got billed $150. I called Schweiger Dermatology to contest the bill but they told me that they could not bill my visit as preventive since they're dermatologists. So avoid for cancer screening.
My first 2 appointments here were great- kind staff, efficient service- thats my 2 stars. I had to reschedule my 3rd appointment, which I did online, and they put me in for the wrong time. I showed up at the agreed upon time to be told that it was never put into the computer. The receptionist apologized and rescheduled to today- while I was standing right in front of her. I came here awhile back looking for help with treatment-resistant acne. I'd worked with other dermatologists over the years on a variety of topicals and an antibiotic without any benefit, so I was hoping to have a conversation exploring the possibility of Isotretinoin/Accutane.
