The staff members are very very good, especially the girl [name removed] who helped us out with the admissions- she has been great to work with and we can reach out to her for anything if we have any questions or concerns. Also our loved ones caregivers are good. The meals however really need improvement, our loved one pays for three meals a day and she maybe goes down for one meal. It is a nice community but the quality of the meals need to be better.
They are making an effort to improve activities, and ask for resident input on the activities they offer. One of the things I really like about the facility is the green space. The greatest feature however, is that when my mother needs to move Into the memory care section, the set-up is the same one-bedroom floor plan that she has in assisted living. The continuity is important and has a more caring feel than the hospital aesthetic you may see in other places.

My mother has lived at Scottsdale Village Square since [date removed], and they have provided a safe and loving home for her. Although she continues to decline in her physical and mental abilities at age 97, she has enjoyed wonderful activities that appeal to her and enriched her life.
