I am very pleased with the service, order, and cleanliness of this place. Long-story-short, I had 1 week to move things out of my house, I couldn't find an apartment within that time frame, so I yelped around for Self-Storage places and many of the reviews I read regarding other nearby businesses and I was honestly discouraged and feared: 1. being ripped off, 2. getting my stuff stolen, 3. finding rat feces on my possessions (yes, rat feces!). They steal here. Customer service sucks. Had a unit that needed a door fixed, couldn't even close. I expressed my concern to the manager. All she told me was, "you look like you're going to be an issue. We're terminating your lease". Just because I wanted my unit door fixed in a timely manner.

I leased a unit 3 months ago for a move. The elevator didn't work for the first 2 months. I had to lug heavy items up the emergency escape stairs for those first 2 months. Once the elevator began working, they raised the rent more than 30%. I was moving more items in today, and found most of my stuff gone and I just brought in more items 2 weeks prior. They advertise safe and secure storage, but our unit was broken into and ransacked. Several thousand dollars worth of items stolen, not to mention the sentimental value of 20 years worth of digital pictures gone. They told us that this has happened multiple times over the past while (the police confirmed that to me as well), but they don't have cameras that cover all of the storage doors so they can't pin things down on the people that have been doing this through the facility. If I can give it less than one star I would definitely do it. Stay away from this place you have many more in the area to choose from. My payment was late and I was told that they were going to auction my stuff, I told them my stuff is not worth much but to me it has no price. Kimberly said well you will still owe us even if your stuff is not enough to pay the rent. I can't believe this is how they do business. Quite frankly they don't care one bit about their clients. It is quite the contrary -- we do everything in our power to prevent such fees from accruing by providing courtesy calls, text message reminders, and to mention we grant a 10 day grace period before charging a late fee to your account. Let me start by saying, I agree with every one (1) star review on Yelp for this business Paramount Jackson Self Storage. You're not dealing with professionals here folks. The customer service is terrible from the District Manager Christine, (if she was really the district manager?) I can only go by what she told me, right down to management and the staff. Horrible communication from this place. I have been at this facility for years and have 3 units. They have raised my fee 3 times in the last year and a half!! And do not bother to contact me to let me know at any time!!! Except of course if my bill is due and then they call every five minutes!! They're closed on holidays which is inconvenient. I finally closed on of my units today due to higher prices. Prorated bill of course except for the "insurance" that I had to pay in full for the month!!
