Shane was absolutely awesome to work with. My experience with Shane Cook and his staff was very good. I have no complaints. They made the process of refinancing very easy. They did all the work. They are very professional and Shane was always available for any questions I had. I would highly recommend them.

Through the entire process Shane was right by our side. He took the time to explain all options as well as give us peace of mind. Shane was recommended to us from a family friend and after this process I could see why. If you are looking for a mortgage broker who will be completely honest with you, will not sugar coat things and will work their tail off to get you the best deal possible, then Shane Cook is that broker.

This is our eighth lending transaction with Shane. He has assisted us with the purchases of homes in Nags Head, NC; Chester, Va; Myrtle Beach, SC; and several refinances. He is always up to date on the market conditions and on several occasions has alerted us to better rates. Our recent transaction was a cash-out refinance that, due to his expertise and experience, closed in record time. I shopped around and talked to many lenders during the process of buying a new home and Shane was hands down the best. I shopped around and received offers and cost breakdown summary sheets from multiple lenders. I had some questions about the loan process and items on the cost summary sheets and Shane was the only person I talked to who never once tried to rush me off the phone. Shane was always available to help navigate through any issues with the loan approval process. Very in touch with the nuances of owning a home at the Outer Banks. Consistently on top of any developments and helped to make it as easy as possible, especially as it was all handled from a distance. Pleased from beginning to end.
