Communication was not acceptable. At the very last moment, literally at closing, i discovered additional fees that were never previously disclosed to me. I had to accept the fees or else not close. Not a good experience by any measure. Will explore options to file an official complaint against the company for unfair business practices.

Well 1st I was told that I would get 2.99% than after I did the Appraisal everything changed. I had points and I got 3.125% with points. I would have went somewhere else but I didn’t want to lose my Appriasal fee I paid of $445.00 I was told one thing and what i got was completely different. I know interest rate are low so why I had points is crazy. Them if that wasn’t enough it took 3months to complete the loan. I thought Mutual of Omaha was a good company but wasn’t pleased with the service.

I believe I was lied to. My loan took longer to close than expected, by no fault of my own, yet I was penalized. I was charged an extra fee to hold my rate. I provided all required documents in a timely manner and yet, because Mutual of Omaha took long, I have to pay an additional $1000+ for the loan. Fees kept increasing and I signed documents on 8/18/2020 and as of 8/25/2020 I have yet to receive my funds and my accounts remain the same. I was told the loan was funded on 8/24/2020 at 6:30am.

The communication could have been much better, not just emails, but picking up the phone to communicate next steps or issues. I asked about how the process was and what was going on with the loan and his response was have you even open a doc that was sent to me ( felt like he was being condescending) I asked for a supervisor at the end to take care of some fees that were added on and he was very quick to respond and help get the process completed ( was much better and I appreciate it)

I tequested $10000 cash back , only got $8440 . Was told not to make May payment only to find out i need to pay $522 back to RP funding cause your company didn't fully pay off loan , which makes my $10000 request now appox. $7900 . Good job !
