We hadn’t been to Ela’s in quite a while but always enjoyed it there. It did not disappoint. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The appetizer Lobster nachos were as good as I remembered.
Wonderful dining experience. Server was very knowledgeable and could recite the bar menu by heart. She was very attentive. Four different selections at our table and everyone loved the food. Always a nice view of the harbor. Four ⭐️
My fifth or so visit. I go once or twice every time I visit Hilton Head. Outstanding food and service. Restaurant week menu was especially nice and a bargain for such great food.
The food was delicious and the service was attentive, without hovering. The ambiance was pleasant and we especially enjoyed the piano music.
Great dining experience and great service all around. Appreciated that the steak offerings could be prepared with or without seasonings or rubs. Always enjoy dining at ELA’S On the Water.

My wife's Slow roasted Short Ribs were great, but my Jumbo Crab Cakes were awful. There were no jumbo crab and a lot of filers. At a price of $42, these two crab cakes were a very bad buy.
Ela's has always been one of our favorite restaurants on HHI but this time it was a bit disappointing. Our service was good, but the larger-than-usual number of diners made it less than expected. There was a large party upstairs that made it rather noisy, and the prices have increased to the point where we will have to think before going there again.
