Outstanding all around, a gem! The food was really impressive.
The short ribs fried oysters and scallops were cooked perfect our waitress and the waitstaff were great. Always a great food and dining experience.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner very much. ELA’s helped us celebrate by bringing champagne to our table. The service was great. The good delicious. One of our favorite places to go n Hilton Head.

We had dinner there on Wednesday night for our first time. We had heard good things about it. The receptionist was very nice and seated us upstairs where we had an elevated table and a great view of the marsh. It was our anniversary dinner so they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. The oysters Rockefeller were great and lobster bisque was good. However, my main course of crab cakes was disappointing. Year 7! Yes, this is the seventh yearly visit to Ela’s on the Water and with good reason. We love this place! Management is visible and proactive. The servers? Delightful. Engaging. Polite and professional. Information provided and adept at guiding us through the options of the menu for specials of the evening and the delicious mainstays.
Great food, and wonderful ambiance on the harbor! We were so lucky to get Karen for our waitstaff. She made our experience memorable in the best of ways. Karen was as fantastic as our food. Can’t wait to go back again and request Karen for sure!
What a pleasant early afternoon. We were unaware that Ela's had Brunch on Tuesday afternoons starting at 12 Noon. Evidently they have Brunch all week. We arrived around 12:30, were promptly seated, extremely pleasant wait staff took our order, food was delicious, what a great way to start the afternoon. WE dined out on the deck, view of the boats and water was perfect ambiance. We will definitely see you soon.
