ELA's was a very nice experience. Our server was amazing and we were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. The food was reasonably priced for a fine dining restaurant overlooking the Shelter Cove Marina. The food was well prepared except for some scallops that were a little over done. I would absolutely go back again.

Upon arrival, we were told there was a problem with the propane for cooking- we could have salad, chilled food but had to wait for the truck- we decided to stay and are so glad we did! Our waitress Katie was amazing! She refilled our bread, wine, kept checking on us! We did get our food and it was excellent! Ella’s on the Water is really great in so many ways! In addition to very good food and service, the view can’t be beat on Hilton Head.
Our experience at Ela’s tonight was simply outstanding. We were delighted to be seated at an outdoor table; our waiter, David, was perfect; our appetizer, crab cakes, was cool and light; our meals were scrumptious. I don’t think it could have been better.
Waitress in charge of entire level. Too many tables for one person. Offered the special, accepted but received a different dish. Check came out incorrect with charges over posted price. Sad
Really good food! Great service from David. Our out of town guests really enjoyed it!
