Excellent food and service. Great view. This place is now “our go to place” when in Hilton Head!
We just find Ela’s On the Water one of the most magical food experiences available!! Our server was professional, kind and has a great sense of humor! We made a reservation and were seated in one of our top two favorite spots. The hostess was smiling -kind even while busy. The food was outstanding as well as the drinks. You pay more like everywhere but it’s the entire experience that makes it one of our favorite places on the Island to eat!!
Dined outside on the deck which was really lovely. Enjoyed a really nice bottle of Pinot Noir. Our group had oysters, crab legs, short rib and scallops - all which were very good. Shared a few tasty desserts as well. The server did was very friendly and attentive. All together a very pleasant experience.
We joined some old friends from Ohio who were here on vacation and they were very pleased with the service and food . It’s one of our favorites on HH..
It's all about the views and ambience. The food was decent but over priced which is to be expected. Lobster nachos are not the way to go. Gumbo was decent and the salmon was delicious. All in all worth the try especially considering the views of the Marina.
Fabulous! Would definitely go again if we are back in HHI!
First time here. Really expected to be able to rate the experience higher but my grouper, a signature dish, wasn’t good and was cold. Mashed potatoes were cold. Courses were spread to far apart. The Calamari was very good and the table position was excellent. Will try again sometime. Might have just been an off night.
Food was the best we had on the trip. The staff and the live music were great. We will be back!
We had a wonderful experience! We sat on the outdoor area, nice view of the marina, little breeze felt great. From the cocktails, salads, entrées to dessert, food was exquisite and service over the top. We would definitely go back to ELA'S
