Great Mothers Day brunch! We enjoyed French Toast, crabcakes, and the garden omelet. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
One of the best restaurants on the island. A Must!
We’ve dined at Ela’s many times. This time was less than stellar. While the food is always good. Never disappointing, the pricing has become disjointed. It has become over priced relative to other restaurants. Pricing is on level with the likes of Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris, etc, but the food and service aren’t at the level of these other places. The service we had was exceptionally slow. As said, we’ve always enjoyed Elas in the past. Maybe this was just an off day for them. But again, overpriced in our opinion.
The service was excellent. We had an excellent server. She vhevo on us to make sure we had what we needed. Our table allowed us to overlook the bay. We will go back again and suggest it to our friends.
One of the most exquisite settings on the island!! To sit and watch the boats come in and out is delightful! Plus it’s peaceful and wonderful food and service! Don’t miss out on this gem on Hilton Head!!
Ela’s is usually our go to for fine dining but the Mothers day brunch was a bit of a letdown. The calamari was prepared differently than we are use to having there not sure if that was a brunch vs dinner menu issue or not but we didn’t realize it. It was still good but a much smaller portion. I ordered steak and eggs, medium and it came out well done with cut marks in it (if they are going to cut it to check them at least send it out the right temperature.
