My husband and I went for dinner for his birthday. We both had a phenomenal meal. I started with the beet and goat cheese salad and had the short ribs for my meal. The salad was excellent with the goat cheese slightly deep fried. The short ribs melted in my mouth. My husband had the fried green tomato salad which was excellent and the swordfish special which also met expectations. Great food, great wait staff, enjoyed the table overlooking the harbor … unfortunately obnoxiously loud patrons ruined our experience … just the two of us … and we could not even carry on a conversation at our table
The crab cakes were unusual and bland. Lobster bisque was too salty. Our server was not very attentive and lacked a warm personality. The bread was the best thing we tasted.

Our server was sat with 4 tables including ours at the same time which made the service less then desirable. We were there celebrating my birthday with my husband and we were having to constantly having to ask our server for his attention and when he did come to the table we felt rushed and unimportant.
We came to Ela’s for a celebration dinner and LOVED IT! The food was delicious, our server was professional & friendly. The steamed lobster tail with risotto was cooked perfectly. All 4 of us were extremely happy with our dinners. The location on the water is awesome too.
This was our first visit. We were seated by a window, beautiful view. We started our meal with the fried green tomatoes. We try this app most times we find it on the menu. These were very good; crisp outside, tender inside. For entrees, my husband got the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was cooked perfectly and the sauce was creamy and smooth with a yummy richness.
