Lovely restaurant second visit because we enjoyed it so much. Excellent across the board. Highly recommend.
On arrival for our 6:30 reservation was told by waitress they were out of the diamond scored flounder. This is my favorite meal at Elas at the reason we made the reservation. Needless to say quite disappointed first thing on Friday night already were "out of" a fish at a restaurant known for its fish. The snapper special was delicious however still quite disappointed in the lack of inventory on flounder. The restaurant is pricey, food taxes high.
Great service, food and atmosphere
We were a group of 4. Two ordered the Bone-in Ribeye, 1 ordered the Steamed Lobster over Risotto and 1 ordered the Grouper. Service was excellent. Our waiter anticipated our beverage needs and was attentive. All meals were cooked well. The ambience and location was above average. The prices overall were on the high side but not high enough to keep us from returning.
We enjoyed being at your lovely restaurant. Everything was as delicious as I remembered from the early 70’s. Your hostess, Honey, welcomed us and exuded hospitality. Our waiter was superb. Thank you.
Every dish for our party of four was outstanding! We have eaten at Ela's many times and we are locals. Your constancy is amazing!
Everything was amazing from the food, the view, to Andre our server and waitstaff were on point . Such an amazing night!
I don't often give a five-star rating, but cannot say enough about this gem of a restaurant. The restaurant itself was charming (wish the weather was nicer so we could have sat outside), the service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, the prices were reasonable. There were five of us; we were all amazed with our meals. ELA's is off the beaten path, but well worth the search.
Had a wonderful time with friends and we all enjoyed our meals. Our server was excellant.
