Been here several times gets better with each visit. Staff moves at your pace and the food is spot on. Crab cakes are great, bone in ribeye blackened great. Really like it here, one of the few that has not been commercialized into the gray. Go take your time and enjoy!!!! Salute.

My family are in Hilton Head on vacation. We selected Ela’s for the seafood options. We were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent and we got a table upstairs overlooking the water. We started with the charcuterie board. Very good. We had the gumbo and wedge and arugala salads. Very good as well. For dinner we had the surf and turf, the lobster, crab cakes, and shrimp and grits. Service and food were great and the restaurant was quiet where we were seated.
Calamari appetizer was underwhelming. Beet salad was very good, as were the citrus lime shrimp. Fish special was okay. Crab cakes were excellent. Wait staff was great!!
Food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary for the price.
We love Ela’s! There are several great seating options, the service is always great, and the food is delicious.
