The air conditioning was not working or we would have given it a 5!
Everything about this dinner was perfect; however, I was not pleased with how my reservation was handled. I made reservations on 5/15 for 7/2 and was contacted the Wednesday before stating they could not accommodate the 7 people I requested. It was settled to sit us inside but away from a window. I am not sure how I could have done better from a customer standpoint than making my reservation almost 2 months in advance.
This is one of our favorite places to visit when we're in Hilton Head! Great food and wonderful views!
Not sure if the a/c was out but was very hot inside. Made it hard to enjoy the food- which was delicious.
The ambience was great. Wait staff Karen was polite and attentive. She suggested the berry blitz which was refreshing. Our appetizer was calamari, it was nice- crispy and hot. I had the fish of the day, I believe it was seared trout. My daughter had the vegetarian pasta. They were just OK.
Excellent view and service, good food. Parking was a little difficult, but not too bad.
We attended a Sunday brunch and especially enjoyed the music of Bill Peterson.
We were looking for a great restaurant for my wife's birthday. Ela's on the Water did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and food and service. We will go again on our next trip to Hilton Head.
