There was a large 36 person party upstairs who made the dining experience less than desirable; because of the noise level they generated.
I love the setting. What a lovely, relaxing view. My dinner was so delicious. I am a light eater but I love flavor so there were so many choices. I have been coming to HHI for 26 years. I have been visiting Ela’s on each visit and have never been disappointed. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. We took guests, new to the restaurant, so I was pleased that they were so happy. Each of our foursome chose a different entree, but each person was so pleased
I got very sick all night after eating here. The food was just average and very pricy. Nothing special for the price we paid. We had 2 entrees (ny strip and a salmon) and one app and 2 drinks and the bill was $180 with tip. All in all its a lovely restaurant on the marina but you are paying for the location and not the quality of the food. Service: Bar service was amazing, wait staff was not that friendly or attentive.

We arrived early for our dinner reservation and enjoyed a delicious martini at the bar… I highly recommend the the lemon basil martini
One of the best restaurants in Hilton Head.
Ela's is our favorite restaurant in Hilton Head. We chose it to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary for this reason, and we definitely made the right choice!
