Nice atmosphere
We loved sitting on the patio overlooking the harbor. It was a cool evening but the heaters kept us toasty. Great drinks, service and the food was excellent lowland prepared.
Great birthday dinner!
Our first time at Elsa which was recommended by a local. Somewhat disappointing and quite pricey. I ordered the “signature” scallop dish with citrus risotto . 4 scallops with a couple of bacon bits served on a very small strip of dry risotto( very small portion). Usually risotto is moist and served in a bowl. For the price you could have added a vegetable. The scallops were cooked properly. Our friends steaks were over cooked. The lobster bisque very salty. Food was great. Had the fried calamari, crab cakes and shrimp and grits. Sea food was very fresh. Service was not that gray, the waiter was nice but it took a long time (about 10 min) before he came to the table with water. Several waiters and managers passed us and said nothing. We eventually got our food but it took too long for us to want to order dessert. Overall it was pretty good I’d recommend the place but the service wasn’t on point that night.
