Our meal was good. We asked to turn down the speaker directly above our table 2x. The 2 tables on either side of us also commented how loud the music was. It was a local musician that if anyone wanted to hear could have gone to where he was playing. It was beyond TOO LOUD. We could barely hear the server. Needless to say- they never turned it down. Saddened as we had a $365 tab - would have enjoyed a bit of a quiet ambiance. Dissatisfied.
Outstanding food and service. The extensive menu is sure to please all eaters. Always a treat to dine at ELA’s.
Friends visiting HHI for the weekend, food and service excellent and live musician was very good too!

Every time I go to Ela's I always look forward to getting the filet mignon. I was disappointed on this visit because it wasn't up to the usual excellent standard. It was just ok, but not excellent like it usually is. The service was amazing as usual, our server Emilio was very good. I always rate Ela's with 5 stars but unfortunately couldn't give the 5 stars this time. Maybe it was a different chef that night combined with a bad cut of meat. We enjoyed shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque, both were excellent! Our entrees were lobster ravioli and an appetizer size crab cake with mushroom risotto. Ravioli delicious, very creamy and nice portion. Crab cake was very small and unfortunately risotto very salty. Our waiter Kumar was exceptional!! Very polite and friendly. We explained after dinner risotto was salty and he removed cost from our bill. Highly recommend!
Pear salad was excellent and the scallops withlobster risotto were outstanding, service was also outstanding.
