First time at Ela’s. Very pleased overall. Looking forward to going in the spring!
Alway consistently great.
We celebrated our 52 wedding anniversary at Ela’s last night. I was able to enjoy my favorite Chardonnay ( Rombauer). The salmon was delicious!
Service was five star, the wait staff was knowledgeable and displayed experience. Our visit was for an anniversary celebration; I had indicated that in the reservation. After being seated we were given two glasses of champagne to toast our Anniversary. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari. Very good favor and quality. My husband had the filet and that was excellent. I choose the crab cakes. They were good but a bit too salty for my taste. Parking is not too bad during the off season. Very nice atmosphere I would recommend the NY Strip steak, and the seafood pasta.
This was an amazing place to go. On the water, we sat outside and although it was very cool, they had heaters that allowed us to stay out there. It was beautiful. Our waiter was excellent. The only "thing" that made the end of the night not the best was the bartender. We went in for an after dinner drink and asked for a specialty liquor and were pretty much dismissed a little rudely when they didn't. We enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at Ela's. The restaurant was attractive and very quiet. It was also spotless, even though, as we learned, there had been a rush of patrons earlier A talented keyboardist provided delightful holiday stylings. The water views were superb from the second floor perch. My Crab Benedict was delicious; the eggs were done absolutely perfectly!
Tired staff, dirty balcony, broken urinal in men's room. Food was just OK. Fried oysters were not quite hot, lobster bisque was salty, petite filet Oscar was good. Overall, skip it for anything other than a sandwich at the marina.
