Fabulous food view and experience
Lovely evening! Celebrated my mom’s birthday and David took great care of us. Short Rib, Pear Salad, and bread basket were wonderful. Only sub-par item was the crab cakes which were over cooked. Lovely atmosphere and we will definitely be back!
There were 6 of us. We ordered salads, braised short ribs, salmon and crab cakes. Strawberry cake and key lime pie were our choices for dessert. Every bite was delicious! We all cleaned our plates. Our server seated us next to a window in the bar area. Lovely view, but extremely noisy. She was very attentive to our every need. We’ll go again and sit outside (weather permitting)! Great experience!
Every time we visit HHI, we always plan to eat dinner at ELA’s, at least once, which we did. You can see my separate review for that. We discovered that there is a Sunday brunch, so we knew we couldn’t go wrong. It was a great meal. Wife had the NY strip steak and eggs. I was set on that too, until I saw the fried grouper sandwich, with truffle fries delivered to a nearby table. It was delicious. We dined outside. It was a bit chilly but so lovely and relaxing. We sat outside for quite a while and no one came by to check on us. Finally, I had to flag down another waiter and ask him to send someone out to our table. Our waitress arrived and apologized. we did get our food quickly after our long wait for initial service. My husband and I visited Ela’s for the first time and it was outstanding. The food, service and ambiance were spot on. We will absolutely be back when we visit HHI again in June.
We go to ELA’S every time we come to HHI. It never disappoints!
Great waitress at table 23. First time at Ela’s. Neat space. Great food.
The music was very nice. The caprese was half good----the tomatoes were excellent but the mozzarella was just small pieces. The filet was good to very good. The whole flounder was good. Server was very attentive. The presentation was not as good as it could be on the dishes served. No attention paid to presentation. The restaurant could use a remodel.
