I ordered the Yellowfin tuna dinner. Although the quality of the tuna was fine, I was not impressed with the preparation. On the other hand, the fried green tomato appetizer was perhaps the best I ever had. Great service and atmosphere. My major complaint is the terrible parking situation. Six o'clock on a Tuesday and not a spot open. Had to circle until we found someone leaving. Really makes me think twice about going back, and that's a shame. If you are visiting , take an Uber! This restaurant is worth it.
We have been coming to Hilton Head for several years and this was our first time at Ela’s. Great experience and wonderful marina to walk around and catch fireworks.
Wonderful evening at Ela’s. We were able to sit outdoors on the deck overlooking the water. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious with the only exception being the grouper which was not the persons first choice but ended up being ordered when the server let us know there was no flounder after our party already ordered it. Anyway the grouper was overcooked and dry. The rest of our dishes were delicious. All in all a nice evening and meal.
Better value than other places. We had a great server that didn’t rush us. Food was spot on. Great date night place
We love ELA’S. Traditionally we order the calamari appetizer, best calamari anywhere! The pear salad is delicious. I get the Blackened Tuna which is very good, and my husband will either get the scallops or crabcakes. Service is always wonderful.
Blue Point Oysters’s and Calamari was excellent. Probably the Best Calamari I’ve ever had. Cocktails were good and our server was good as well. Would had liked to sat outside but will next time. Beautiful view from restaurant will definitely be back
Great views, friendly staff, fresh seafood, good entertainment, and a nice dining room, all for a fair price. Worth visiting!
If you want waterview insist on outside seating. Food was pretty good. Service friendly but strange with apparent confusion over which of two servers had our table. Hostesses were not as welcoming as we would expect.
Service was poor. Food was very good. Seemed like there was a communication disconnect between servers and hostess. There are so many excellent restaurants on island that I don’t think I will rush back here.
