We chose this restaurant because we could get a reservation inside but we were seated in a very sunny section on the highest level of the restaurant. There was barely and air conditioning where we werw seated plus with the sun, it was very just no escape from the heat. We sweat throughout our meal which was not enjoyable at all. It was perfect, yet again, for our group of 6. The wait staff was so attentive and friendly and helpful, take care of them. And the kitchen is doing it Right! Tuna wonton appetizer was delicious and the oysters and the Special Tilefish was So Good! Thank you !
Thoroughly enjoyed outdoor dining overlooking beautiful Shelter Cove Marina; food was delicious, and prepared as requested; service was engaging and professional….Overall, a “bound-to-return” experience!
First timers and booked for fireworks which was perfect location. Even though it was pouring out, it was so beautiful sitting on veranda watching the fireworks and lightening and food was delicious. Ordered oysters rockefeller and lobster bisque for apps and blackened yellowtail and seafood scampi which we licked our plates clean. Thank you for a fabulous meal..Highly recommend!
The food, service, and venue were terrific, but it was way too hot inside.
We always make a reservation to eat at Ela’s weeks before we arrive! It is that GOOD!
We ate at Ela’s on 7.21.25. The first impression is dirty and torn carpeting to the second level. This did not match a high end restaurant. Our server was good and so was the food. The temperature in the restaurant had to be 80 degrees which made it extremely uncomfortable. The view was very pretty.
Ella's has always been one of my favorite restaurants on the island but this time around I was moderately disappointed. Our server wasn't the most hospitable, the crab cake was cold and dry, but the ambiance and overall vibe were amazing as usual. Not sure that will be enough to keep bringing us back in future years though.
Beautiful location!!! Food was FANTASTIC!! We will definitely be back next time we are on HHI❤️
