Great service & delicious food. My part ordered Special grouper, crab cakes & scallops.
We have eaten at ELA's a couple of times over the past 5 or 6 years and have always been happy with the food and service. This time was no different. Wonderful location overlooking the entrance to Shelter Cove and harbor.
Fabulous outdoor seating at a marina with one of the best meals I’ve had. Live music was excellent as well.

If you’re in Hilton Head, this is the BEST restaurant to try! Everything was phenomenal! I had the oysters rockerfeller and the ribeye with lobster risotto, chef’s kiss! Our waitress, Karen, was nice and very informative about the menu. ELA’s has lifetime customers out of us!
Whether you are seated inside or outside, you have lovely views of the inlet and small harbor. Our server was attentive and friendly, and our food was delicious. I ordered the special - blackened red snapper on sweet pea risotto with grilled bok choy and a tomato relish. It was the best fish I've had in recent memory. My husband's NY strip was also perfectly cooked (according to his taste). We also enjoyed the live music (singer/guitarist). I highly recommend ELA's on the Water.

All about this place is fantastic
As usual, the food was fantastic but the service was a bit spotty. For example, multiple requests for the same items. I believe the restaurant may be short staffed. Despite our recent experience, we will definitely return for another meal.
