Our dinner was delicious. Snapper was cooked perfectly. Had a great time!
Everything about Ela’s is excellent! We come every year when we vacation in HHI. The food, sevice, ambiance and view are fabulous.
The food was just ok, but VERY pricey. Not sure we'll return. We were celebrating a birthday and had what seemed to be a very new waiter who needed more training.

The ambiance was lovely - sat outside, nice live music, a heat lamp to compensate for the cool temps. The waiter was very friendly, but when asked about the use of bell peppers in several dishes, he insisted that that was made the dish spicy and couldn't be removed. (Bell peppers DO NOT add heat to a dish!) I was very clear that I could not eat bell peppers, so when the crabcake I ordered came, it was covered in bell peppers. Beautiful views! Our party ordered shrimp cocktail and gazpacho soup for appetizers, both delicious. Dinner consisted of surf and turf, strip steak and salmon with crab and mushroom risotto. Waitress Vanessa was friendly and accommodating.
We loved eating in the dining room and enjoyed the food. We especially were taken by the excellent waiter we had. Polite, smiling, and a real pleasure. He was great giving information about the drinks, the wine and the food. We enjoyed all of it. We will be back. However, next time we will eat where we can enjoy the piano music. Thanks for asking.
Lovely repeat visit.. Hostess accommodated our last minute request for a particular table, and we had a delicious dinner with a great view. They have a varied menu and lots to choose from. Our waiter gave us just enough attention and we enjoyed our dinner..would highly recommend trying Elas.
