Best service we’ve had in a long time
We had a delicious dinner! I had steamed lobster with risotto. My husband had shrimp and grits! We shared the crab cake for an appetizer. Desert was delicious: Honeysuckle cake that was new to me. Loved it! Karen, our server was very friendly and informative. We had the privilege of having hers services previously and she knows her menu well. We will return! It is worth the drive from Beaufort. Nice Birthday dinner…
This was our first time here. We had a lovely table by the window. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food.
This was our fourth dinner on our visit to Hilton Head and first time we experienced a thinly staffed operation. One waiter, one server and expect the kitchen was short staffed as well. Everything just took a long time. The location and view at Elas is great. We chose to eat outside and enjoy the marina view. The Red Snapper, Tuna Tartare, wedge salad and sautéed mushrooms were good. My only not to pick were the oysters Rockefeller. Always a great place: food, ambiance, service, etc!
Our fellow diners were a bit late which might have aggravated the waitstaff. That said, the other couple got stuck in traffic so their late arrival was unavoidable. I’m gluten free. Our waiter seemed very knowledgeable about the entrees and ability to make them G.F. Appetizers were good. Salad was okay. Once diner enjoyed his entree. Two diners were good with their entrees. always trhe first restaurant we go to when we arrive HH for the winter!!!!
Dinner was yummy. Sea Bass was amazing. There for New Year's and they handed out hats, champagne and balloons fell at midnight. Wonderful celebration without all the big crowds.
