Food. OK. We were upstairs. Waiter very nice. Unfortunately my wife was sitting where an overhead AC vent was dripping on her. She moved to next seat to the right. It then just dripped on chair she use to be in.
Emilio gave excellent service. The oysters Rockefeller and crab stack or a perfect meal. The live music is a nice touch and the view cannot be beat.
Thoroughly enjoyed dining at Ela’s. If you’re looking for an elegant meal in a beautiful location, this is the place. My only disappointment is that my swordfish was waayyyy over cooked, thus very dry. In addition, the risotto was pasty thick rather than creamy. It was a pricy featured special, so I was expecting perfection. However, everything else was delicious and properly prepared. I’ll go back, but maybe I’ll skip the featured special entree.
Delicious food, impeccable service, great views. Don’t miss this place, blowing it if you choose other restaurants over this one.
Not our first time at Ela’s but everything was excellent as usual.
Our family reserved a table at ELA in Shelter Cove to have a late dinner and watch the fireworks. We reserved about a month in advance. They had us situated at the perfect table by the windows. The timing was perfect. Wait staff was fabulous and really helped make it a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, great portion and tasted very freshly made. ELA'S On the Water offers lovely views of Shelter Cove from almost any table. The fish dishes featured on the menu are fresh and the presentation very appealing. The service was professional and attentive. We have made it a point to eat there every summer when we vacation on Hilton Head.
Wonderful dinner, atmosphere etc. waiter forgot to our in my sons appetizer but we shared.
Come to Ela’s every time we are on the island. Food does not disappoint. Loved the tuna 2 ways appy. Dessert was key lime pie. Not too tart at all!! Food service ambiance All great!!
