Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the flounder and cobia entrees. We highly recommend both. Drinks and wine were spectacular. Our service was great. The hostesses however need to be a little more engaged. Ours never looked at us and was genuinely bothered when I asked if there might be a table outside.
We always look forward to a night out at Ela's. It's definitely one of our favorite Hilton Head restaurants. Excellent food, nice outdoor seating overlooking the marina and excellent service. The filet mignon is to die for..... absolutely the best! I've never had to send it back; it is always cooked to perfection and tastes amazing! I would have given all 5 stars, but couple minor comments; had surf & Turf, excellent but very salty. Price for two with no alcohol, $170, so price was high What got me the most, I booked a week in advance and told them it was my 45th anniversary and even called day of to confirm reservation and special event. Not ONE person acknowledged this, not even the server, which should have been told by hostess. Why put a place for a special occasion if it’s not going to be acknowledged
Ela’s is our ‘go to’ special evening place! Between the food, ambiance, location and music - perfect setting. The service is always excellent and the food well prepared. We love it there!
Very average at best. Ambiance was the best part of our experience. Food was overly salty. The crab cakes were pretty bad. They advertise lump crab meat. There was no lump meat in the crab cakes. Do not get them! We went there with some reservations due to prior reports. Unfortunately our fears were realized. There are much better restaurants to spend your hard earned money.
Amazing!!! We reserved this location weeks before our Hilton head vacation in hopes to seeing a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately the weather didn’t work in our favor and there was a pretty significant thunderstorm. However the customer service and food made up for it. It was amazing. Definitely a place I would return to.
Lovely place with beautiful harbor view and distant waterways. Food is excellently prepared and plated. Service was friendly and slower paced. Great acoustic guitarist. The best on Hilton Head Island.
This is my third visit to Ela’s and it’s a great restaurant service is wonderful food is always fantastic and seems to be better every time I go there and I can’t wait to go back if you’re reading this review get on open table and grab a reservation you won’t be disappointed
