On HHI for my birthday week. Made reservations about 4 weeks in advance to be sure to be there on my birthday and then return on our last night on the island, Sat night. Which this visit . Everything on the menu is great. My wife had the grilled scallops with risotto. I chose to repeat with the crab cakes and Cajun spiced seafood gumbo. All was delicious. We enjoyed 2 Grouper fish dishes. Both were EXCEPTIONAL! One was the standard fare and mine was the Special and it was. Highly recommend.
We were celebrating our 27 th anniversary and made note of that when made reservations but it was not acknowledged
Beautiful views of the waterway and sunset. Food was amazing. Lobster ravioli perfect. Fairly good wine selection.
Hands down the best dining experience we had on Hilton Head Island. Outdoor table - great view. Service - very good. Shrimp and grits, scallops, soft shell crab, and fried oysters - delicious!
We got a private room for the night and was very pleased with the view. The food was amazing and the service was just as good!
quaint location on the water. quite busy on a week day. both our meals were fair. i had the surf and turf. the steak lacked flavor and the lobster tail was over cooked and tasteless. oyster on the half shell were small for blue points and also quite tasteless. pricey for what the kitchen turned out. i would recommend them as a scenic restaurant but stick to the catch of the day.
On HHI for my birthday week. ELA’s is always our first choice, “go to” restaurant to celebrate or any other time to have a great meal. This time did not disappoint, even though no mention of my birthday was made. Our waiter was stretched too thin. Great service from Raven, she was very energetic and accommodating. The appetizer and desert were both outstanding but the main courses were just so so. Underprepared and over salted; with no real flavor to speak of and questionable presentation. Fine dining atmosphere and pricing without the entrees to match. Unfortunate
