Very accommodating and best service during our stay at HHI. Food was delicious and ambiance was lovely right on water.
Outside seating is a must, so beautiful even though it rained. There is overhang to stay dry. Food was great and service was too!

The ambiance and view were incredible. The service was good though not the most friendly we’ve encountered on the island (for example we asked for something and the server looked annoyed and never brought it). The scallops and short rib were outstanding. We got the ahi tuna to start and it was tasteless, like eating air, so that was disappointing.
Vacation dining
Good food. Slower service but not enough to put a damper on anything. Not the cleanest though. I think we’d still go back.
From the outside, it looks like you're walking into a marina boat store...they could do some work on the outside to make it look more elegant, attractive and inviting. Inside is tight but very nicely appointed. The food is pricey but was very good and worth the visit. The view of the marina is outstanding; watching the boats come in and out is relaxing.
Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the flounder and cobia entrees. We highly recommend both. Drinks and wine were spectacular. Our service was great. The hostesses however need to be a little more engaged. Ours never looked at us and was genuinely bothered when I asked if there might be a table outside.
We always look forward to a night out at Ela's. It's definitely one of our favorite Hilton Head restaurants. Excellent food, nice outdoor seating overlooking the marina and excellent service. The filet mignon is to die for..... absolutely the best! I've never had to send it back; it is always cooked to perfection and tastes amazing!
