Great establishment would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hilton Head
We thoroughly enjoyed Ela’s. Delicious meal, spectacular view, friendly and efficient wait staff. Very convenient location to the Marriott.
Our visit on May 17 was our third time at Elas. We had alwayso come for Sunday Brunch and had been very pleased. For this visit, I ordered a Rib Eye medium rare. It came medium well. It looked like it had been sitting under the sun lamp for some time. The visual appearance was not pleasing and when I cut into it, the steak was dry. Emelio the server agreed and brought me a replacement that was OK. I wish there was a "maybe or sometime" option for Would you recommend Elas?

Ela's interior dining room is surrounded with windows containing water views, but the glass provides a hard, non-noise absorbing surface. There are no sound absorbing surfaces on the remaining walls, resulting in a noise level that required shouting in order to speak to the wait people or your dinner companions. Based on this alone, I would not return to this restaurant.
From appetizers to desert everything was delicious. The fried oyster appetizer was cooked to perfection. The blackened Yellowfin tuna was rare just as I like it. I certain the chocolate peanut butter square went right to my hips. Wait staff were attentive but not overbearing. Every table outside has a really nice view of the marina.
We sat outside overlooking the marina, which was a lovely setting. That was definitely the highlight of our dinner. We had lobster nachos, which had potential, but were just so so. Not much lobster, and a lot of cheese. I had a pasta dish with shrimp, which did mention red pepper flakes, I believe, but not just how spicy hot it actually was. Great brunch experience!! The smoked salmon Benedict was delicious and our server, Mario was a joy and extremely friendly and welcoming!! Highly recommend ELA!!
