Ela's is a neighborhood gem with nightly music, beautiful sunset and excellent service and good.
Our meal was outstanding as was our waiter David. Everyone really enjoyed the service and food. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent meal with extraordinary atmosphere. There was an excellent singer who was just the right level of sound adding to the outstanding views.

We enjoyed our dinner at Ela's very much. The appetizers were tiny and not enough to share - our only quibble besides the fact that the grouper was overcooked. Problem alleviated somewhat by extra sauce. Flounder, salmon and tuna were great. Our server was MIA at times and had to be reminded that our wait fro our meals was quite long (over 25 minutes) but overall our experience was favorable. We love Ela's location and the food is generally excellent.
Ela’s is our favorite place to visit in HH. The weather was a bit cool and breezy. We asked to be moved to another section. Our first waitress was not exactly friendly after we asked to be moved. No offer was made to put us on the inner end of the outdoor patio nor were heaters offered.
We were delighted to be seated overlooking the marsh. The views at sunset were magnificent. Our server was extremely attentive and provided detailed information and recommendations from the menu. Both the food and wine selection was varied and all four of us ate everything including the bread basket. Our friend raved about the blackened tuna and his wife enjoyed the short ribs. Both my husband and I enjoyed the steamed lobster with citrus risotto. Will definitely return on our next trip to HHI
The food and service was great. Our night was cool, but the heaters helped.
Excellent service Karen was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food. We managed to get sat outside overlooking the entrance to the Marina loved the place and definitely now on our favourite list of places to eat when visiting Hilton Head.
Always love dining on the water. ELA’s overlooks a marina. My gumbo soup and crab stack were good, however; the crab was tasteless and you had to search for the 1/2 t of avocado. Lobster bisque was good, my husband felt the crab cake was also tasteless and a rather small portion. The chocolate mousse cake and key lime pie were very good. Service was fine but, not extraordinary.
