Gumbo and crab tower were excellent! We had salmon and steamed lobster tail for entrees and the were pretty good. Gin fizz was meh…would definitely go back. Server was excellent and very responsive.
Had patio seating that was under cover. Very nice views and when it rained we stayed dry

Food was excellent service not as great as in the past. Not as of attentive to us. They did acknowledge our anniversary which was much appreciated.
Ela's is our go to restaurant to celebrate special events. Our 47th anniversary dinner last night was no exception. A storm began not too long after we were seated at an outdoor table. The ceiling over the terrace kept the rain off us, allowing us to enjoy the storm rollng in over the harbor while the tide rolled in-all while we enjoyed impeccably prepared food and attentive service.
Our dinner was $104 with tip and it was good but not great. When I opened the menu and there were food stains all over it, I was immediately turned off. I don’t consider a menu that is soiled with another diners food to be upscale. Our server was phenomenal. The ambiance of the restaurant is one of the best. I we had the the fried green tomatoes, truffle fries, wedge salad, and salmon Rockefeller. Like I mentioned before, the food was good but nothing I would return for.
Kim was our waitress - she was very attentive and informative. We will visit Ela’s again.
The restaurant was very nice with courteous service. The food was very well executed. Everything we tried had a chief’s signature on it and was very good. I would recommend going there.
It was our anniversary The food was excellent We had the lobster and the service was very good. We weren’t able to get a table outside on the water but we could still see it. A very nice place
