My husbands birthday dinner was a success. We Loved every bit of our dining at Ela’s.
Wonderful dinner! Food, service, and setting were excellent. We will be back!

We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Tables are spaced far enough apart and the staff wore masks the entire time. We ordered the 4 course meal with wine pairing. Every single dish was flavorful and perfect. We left stuffed. We will go back again before we head home. Thumbs Up!
Ela’s On the Water is our favorite restaurant on the island for special occasions. We had an outdoor table with a terrific view of the marina as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. After a complimentary glass of champagne we were treated to a five course meal which is the customer appreciation menu special. Each bite was more delicious than the previous one. The service was fantastic as well. All in all a night to remember. Can’t wait to dine there again soon!
We made certain to visit Ela's this year because it was our favorite restaurant in Hilton Head during our annual trip. We were a little disappointed this year. We ordered the tasting menu again. The food overall was good but there was a definite miss on the details. My wife and I ordered the steak and scallop combo. I ordered rare and she ordered medium rare. We were about 3 bites in after the food was served and we realized that I had the medium rare piece and she had the rare one. The server never asked or specified which ... read more
Food was delicious but service was very disappointing. I think the waitress must have had too many tables.
Kim was great waitstaff. Beautiful environment.
The water was not wearing a proper mask.
