Our dinner during restaurant week was delicious. We had the filet mignon with scallops and short ribs with salmon. The filet was so tender that it cut with a table knife. The short rib pulled apart with a fork. Key lime pie for dessert was as good as any in Key West. Service was excellent!
We’ve been on the Island for years but this was our first time at Ela’s. Service and food were great, really nice atmosphere with good views. Will definitely be back.

The crab cakes were soggy and over salted. My mother ordered the ravioli and enjoyed it but found it very rich.
Everything was wonderful from the service through to dessert. It's just sad that it's too expensive to enjoy more regularly.
We visit the island 2-3 times a year and have always had our list of restaurants that we have to get to while here. Ela’s is now on that list for all future visits. My husband had the Yellowfin Tuna, which he said was the best preparation he has ever eaten. I ordered the steamed lobster with risotto, it was delicious.
