Grading on a “beach scale” as finding good places to eat at the beach can be a challenge. This is one of the better restaurants we’ve dined in Hilton Head.
Always exceptional service, menu and ambiance!! We enjoy our evening every time!
Everything was amazing from the appetizers to our main course and fine wine. Really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Everything was lovely for our party of 3 except for my meal of vegetable pasta primavera, which was described as bucatini with pesto and vegetables. Sounded fresh and delicious, but it was a very spicy dish LOADED with oil and small bits of vegetables that were all very dark in color, and very soft as in overcooked. The dish was basically brown, soft and oily with broken pieces of bucatini. No fresh taste of basil in the pesto. Do not order this dish!! It was terrible. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Ela’s . This is actually our 2nd Christmas Eve. The food was amazing and the restaurant crew was very welcoming. I would definitely go again .
We had a party of 6 celebrating an engagement. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The service was very good as well and even though we ate outside, the setup was well done and the neighboring heat lamp a plus. They only negative was their was no acknowledgement by any staff of the occasion, though I made that quite clear in my Open Table reservation.
