The food was so delicious that we decided to start and end our vacation eating there. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The interior of the restaurant is dark, dramatic, and romantic. We sat outside where the harbor views are delightful. Service was good except appetizer plates were still on table when entrees arrived. Apps and dinners were excellent.
We have dined here several times, and it was always good in the past. However, this time the service was terrible and made our experience poor. We expected the level of service to match the food quality, and it simply did not. Given the poor service, I don’t think we will return. There are too many other great restaurants on the island.
Although we had asked for a 'regular table', when we got there there was no record of that, and all they had was outside, or in front of the entertainment, which was a bit loud. The food ws good (we both had grouper), but we found the sauces very salty.
Lobster nachos were a great appetizer along wth the oysters. For entrees we had whole split lobster tails along with Lobster risotto. Big yum. My date had pan seared Grouper which he enjoyed very much. Service was top notch. We would definitely go back again.
We had lunch at Ela's on Sunday and enjoyed a lovely meal, with live music by a man on a keyboard. We had a nice table near a window and looked out onto the harbor. The weather was sunny, a little cool so we ate inside. There were tables outside that people were having their lunch. We would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.
