Went with our friends for lunch. They have overhead heaters which is nice because the breeze had a chill. I had the shrimp and then the green fried tomatoes, very good. A very nice view and we even got to see a fisherman give a blue heron a fish and watch the heron devour it.
Delicious food, attractive presentation, good ambiance.
View of the water was nice from our inside table. The waiter was attentive. The wine list was extensive. Our food was fresh and a wonderful culinary experience. After dinner we took a walk around the marina. Definitely will eat here again when we return in June.
Excellent food with a terrific view. Will go back again.

Business meeting
We were visiting for spring break and had six adults. Everyone loved their appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere was perfect for an adult night out with lovely water views, live music in the bar and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Had beet appetizer—was good, but not delish—-same with husbands oysters rockafellow. Our entrees though were excellent! Scallops with risotto and ravioli Osso buco. Key lime pie was to die for. Good view, comfortable, Will definitely return.
Ela's is A MUST if you're at Hilton Head. Really fine dining but without the stuffy atmosphere. Wonderful service by David. Everything was delicious! What we ordered: Oysters from Maine, Filet Mignon, Seafood Scampi, chocolate pie, blueberry sorbet
