Sheryl also helped with all the paperwork and looked into programs for assistance with down payment assistance. This is extremely helpful for first time borrowers! We started working with Sheryl in August 2020 for a new build. She got us qualified. She explained all the new rules for underwriting loans. Not simple and not something she control, other than getting accurate information. She did that with us. She also worked with our Financial Advisor for our investment accounts to get the needed information for underwriting. The house was completed, and we closed in April 2021. We have a unique situation in that we are self employed and have a few partnerships. Sheryl was able to guide us smoothly through the entire process to be fully prepared before we went to underwriting. I believe Sheryl made the difference of getting us to the finish line on time on a loan for a property that had many offers. Had we gone with anyone else I am not sure we would have made it.
